My group is from Arkansas, and every time we come to Long Island Krisch's is a must stop. The staff is amazing and the food is top notch. Last night I had a burger and a Sundae with apple crisp ice cream on a warm glazed donut.I will be back!

I gave 4 star rating because food was very good. Server him not that good. Was not focused what he was doing we had to ask him several times for tator tots as we ordered appetizer it came end of our dinner. We told them we don't want it anymore. They want is to have it as a complimentary and we get charge for it. Poor management. 2 star service. Sorry.

99 years in business and starting to slip. Place was dirty (un- bussed tables, messy bathroom, kitchen floor looked filthy. Food was still good, but Im skeptical about returning

Rude on the phone and rude at the register. One guy not wearing a mask and cursing in front of customers. This place WAS great but the new ownership doesn’t seem to be keeping that same standard with employees like this.

My waitress was fantastic, the epitome of a perfect waitress. The food was great and the ice cream was wonderful. A single scoop is the size of a softball. Even though the restroom was small, it was clean and smelled nice. I will definitely go there again.

Even though the wait staff is mostly highschool students and they tend to socialize in the back of the restaurant and forget about customers, I'm glad the owner seems to be on top of them and he definitely made up for the slow service by giving us extra ice cream and not charging for toppings! Much appreciated, professionally handled by management, didn't even need to say a word.

This is a long island institution. Amazing desserts, great entrees, fun staff and atmosphere. Definitely make your way here once if you can manage it.

Delicious homemade ice cream in a retro 1950's style restaurant. The food is very good. Service varies depending on how busy it is. Friendly wait staff. Excellent selection of Easter candy including homemade chocolate bunnies around Easter time.

Great service, I had an excellent omelet loaded with bacon. The coffee and home fries were top notch. I tried Reeses ice cream and it was sooooo good! Highly recommend!

It was OK . Their menu is in need of a facelift . They were not consistent . Some items were not crossed out like others. My nieces loved the ice cream . The food came out warm, not hot . The portion sizes are big, even the kids meals. Our waitress was reallu friendly, however it took quite some time for her to come over and take our order and the place was not that busy .

People have nostalgia for Krisch's, but unfortunately it's just not that good. The chocolate isn't good chocolate, the ice cream isn't good ice cream. The food is ok, but basic diner level. It's almost like people like the idea of this place so much they can't notice that the actual food is not there.

Real in house made ice cream. The rocky road - is. Mint choc chip = totally amazing. Great balance. Their Ice cream IS creamy with great mouth feel. You can't find better ! Love the 50's vibe of the store also.

Decent atmosphere with not so great service. The prices are expensive. The ice cream is good but not for the price. Food itself is decent and also gives a decent amount. One big problem is the fee they decided to charge without acknowledging it. I went with my family 6 of us in total. Received the bill no problem was going to pay. When I went to the register the bill was an extra $38 for Utility fee. No where on the bill or anywhere was I told that was going to occur. I will not be a returning customer and cannot recommend people to go here.

Always good food, an amazing dessert selection, and staff who work well with kids. How many places can you say you've never had a bum meal? Has become a family tradition.

This place has been around for years. It offers a great selection of food options and are by far one of the best places when it comes to homemade ice cream. Sometimes it comes with the kitchen sink. This is a kid friendly atmosphere a favorite of many.

Love their ice cream, but was very disappointed in the type of music that they were playing while we were sitting outside trying to enjoy our evening. The music which was rap music, was extremely explicit with dirty language. Definitely not appropriate especially that we had kids that were 11 and 12 years old there.

Always a delight to eat at this eatery. The freshest slice of pie on this side of town. I can tell the owner takes extreme pride in his staff and the menu items he puts forth. Thank goodness this place is around. I LOVE IT!!!

This is a really cool ice cream shop in massapequa. Lots of tables and to sit down and enjoy. Lots of different flavors and toppings. Best part is the absurd amount of ice cream you get - one scoop is really like three scoops lol. Highly recommend a trip !

Its like stepping back in time ...always a favorite.everthing is fresh ..from food to ice cream ...meaning everything made on the premises...always good .they never ever have a bad day ...it is worth taking a trip if your far away...you won't be disappointed..staff very friendly and always smiling.

My daughter and I just went for breakfast. She had the chocolate chip pancakes and they were very light and fluffy with plenty of chocolate chips. I asked for an egg white omelet with several different vegetables. My main complaint when I go to a diner is that if I ask for say onions and mushrooms in my omelet, I get 2 pounds of onions and 3 slices of a mushroom. Not only was the egg white omelet fresh and plentiful, it was the perfect proportion of vegetables. The new owner came by to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. We will definitely be going back to this Massapequa staple.

I’ve been a customer for years. The staff had a. Ore group of young people and both the service and product was top notch. A new owner took over and take the preceding paragraph and reverse it. Looks like the core group left. The service was slower than death itself and the product was extremely disappointing. Very disappointing indeed.

How great is that friendly people home cooked meals. I went about 2 weeks ago very disappointed sat at bar for 20 minutes no one helped us.Got 2 chocolate shakes didn't come with whip cream metal cup just so disappointed.

Best ice cream place on Long Island!!! They have homemade whipped cream, homemade ice cream and it's a slice of heaven. We drive from Middle Island to Massapequa to go here and it's worth the drive. The sundaes are HUGE though, so you have to go hungry.

Krisch's has been around for a while, and for good reason! In my opinion, you go there for the fantastic desserts, the food is alright. The ice cream is amazing and they're always putting out seasonal flavors. They're just a little pricey in my opinion and it's really hard to get a table depending on the time of day and what day you go.

Great place just to have some simple food, had breakfast there and I enjoyed every bit. Kids eat for free on Monday's so if you have kids this would be the perfect place to bring the family on Monday's. And they serve ice cream.
